In 2018, our online security was improved. The General Data Protection Regulation, known as GDPR, protects our personal data on the web.
On Wednesday, June 20, 2018, the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) was passed into law. From May 25 of that same year, our online security was enhanced.
The GDPR law allows us to protect our personal data on the web. Before this, it was not necessarily possible for users to find out what personal data had been collected about them. Now, every user has the right to access, rectify, and erase their personal data processed online.
Most of us tend to forget about our online security, and we are not always aware of the amount of personal data we share daily with various websites and social media platforms we use.
So, don’t forget to protect your data!
