As a CAWEB distance-learning student, you can visit Strasbourg and attend two on-campus meetings during the academic year. While attendance is not mandatory, it is highly encouraged as these gatherings offer a chance to experience the University of Strasbourg firsthand and connect with your fellow students and instructors. 

If you need a visa, we can provide an invitation letter for the on-campus meetings.

A dynamic city with a long history

During your stay in Strasbourg, you will discover a city steeped in rich history. Strasbourg Cathedral dates back to 1015 and is one of the city’s best-known landmarks. Wander through the city’s charming streets, explore tranquil canals, and taste delicious Alsatian cuisine. If you enjoy cycling, rent a bicycle and take advantage of the city’s extensive cycling paths. The city is known for its bike-friendly infrastructure. You can also take a tour of the European Parliament, the Council of Europe, the European Court of Human Rights, and many other European institutions.
