As a CAWEB distance-learning student, you will have the opportunity to visit Strasbourg and attend two on-campus meetings during the academic year. While attendance is not mandatory, it is highly encouraged as these gatherings offer a chance to experience the University of Strasbourg firsthand and connect with your fellow students and instructors.
Our program provides students wishing to participate in these on-campus meetings with invitation letters to obtain a visa that will last the duration of the meetings, if needed.
A Dynamic City Full of History
During your stay in Strasbourg, you will discover a city steeped in rich history. Don’t miss the iconic Strasbourg Cathedral, a must-see historical monument that dates back to 1015. Wander through the city’s charming streets, explore tranquil canals, and taste delicious Alsatian cuisine. If you enjoy cycling, rent a bicycle and take advantage of the city’s extensive cycling paths. Strasbourg is considered one of the most bike friendly cities in the world! You can also take a tour of the European Parliament, the Council of Europe, the European Court of Human Rights, and many other European establishments.
