European master’s program in UX

The CAWEB Master’s program UX Design Specialization offers a hands-on curriculum in usability, user research, interface design, and accessibility. It covers key areas like usability, user research, interface design, and accessibility, all taught by experienced industry professionals.
Students benefit from hands-on projects, using the latest UXD tools and methodologies. This approach helps students build both theoretical knowledge and practical experience.
Alongside its rigorous curriculum, the Master CAWEB fosters thoughtful exchange and collaboration through a well-designed online format. Guided by experienced professionals, students develop the confidence and adaptability essential for navigating real-world UXD challenges.

Curriculum overview

Our curriculum is designed to suit learners at all experience levels. The program builds a strong foundation for beginners while also challenging those with some prior knowledge in the field to expand their skills further.
To ensure you’re always learning the most relevant and up-to-date practices, the curriculum is reviewed and updated each year to keep pace with the latest trends and innovations in the UX industry. The content, academic requirements, and diploma remain identical in both specializations.

The CAWEB Master’s delivers 411 hours of instruction, available in two options: Intensive track (12 months) or Extended track (24 months). The curriculum, content, and final degree are the same for both. The 24-month option simply provides greater flexibility, making it ideal for working professionals or those with limited time.

Delivery format

The program combines live sessions and self-paced study. Live sessions (30%) are held in the evening (6–9 PM CET) and are recorded. They focus on hands-on practice, demos, and discussion with instructors. Self-paced work (70%) includes assignments and project work that you can complete on your own schedule.

Academic scheduling

The academic year is structured into two semesters (October–January and February–June). In the 24-month track, the 411 hours are distributed across four semesters instead of two, significantly offering a lighter weekly workload. Live sessions follow the standard university calendar, including a winter break in December and a spring break in April.
