Success stories from CAWEB graduates
Hear directly from CAWEB graduates about their experiences and how the program has helped them advance in their careers in digital communication, UX design, and digital marketing. Our alumni are a testament to the power of global, flexible, and hands-on online learning.

Nowadays, UX Professionals are required to have knowledge of business, to be good communicators, to understand how marketing works. And I think CAWEB prepares you very well to do that. Especially as a linguist, you are better suited to be a UX professional because 90% of your time is communicating, selling, translating, and putting yourself in the shoes of other people. CAWEB led me to discover UX and I hope it will work for you, too. Be opened to possibilities!
Marie-Aude Sourd-Ramos, CAWEB Alumni, Instructor in CAWEB Master’s Program and Lead UX/CX Researcher Freelance
As someone who was a student in the CAWEB program, and someone who’s now teaching in the program, and also someone who works in the industry, I can really see the advantages that program has to offer for a potential student. We aim to provide students who have a linguistic or humanities background, with technical knowledge, marketing skills and communication skills to help them thrive in digital industries in roles such as digital project manager or marketing project manager. The combination of practical classes along with theoretical classes taught partly by University staff and partly by people like myself who work in the industry, give students a really great hands-on experience and help them build skills which will help them in their future careers
Mark Nightingale, CAWEB Alumni, Instructor in CAWEB and Chief Product Officer at OCCRP

I’ve valued its 100% English, flexible, and hands-on approach. Students manage the program’s website and social media, gaining real-world experience while working in an international environment across time zones. I loved crafting my creative portfolio and developing key skills like adaptability for the professional world.
After the CAWEB Master’s, I founded The Calais Beacon, a collection of furnished tourist and spa accommodations. I am now applying my expertise in UX and multilingual web development to optimize the website for international guests.
Claude Heumel , CAWEB Alumni, Founder of The Calais Beacon
The study process was thoughtfully structured, allowing immediately applying the learnings through hands-on exercises and real-world projects. The flexibility of the program was a major advantage – if you ever miss a class, recorded sessions are available, making it easy to stay on track.
I highly recommend it to anyone looking to deepen their UX design expertise while gaining knowledge in complementary fields. The program strengthened my skills and prepared me to work independently as a UX Researcher.

Graduating from the CAWEB Master’s program was truly transformative for my career. The curriculum in web development, UX design, localisation and digital marketing gave me a strong foundation that I now rely on every day as an SEO Specialist. The practical assignments and real-world projects helped me turn theory into action, building confidence and strengthening my technical skills.
The programme’s flexibility made it easy to balance studies with work, while the international environment and supportive professors created a motivating learning experience. The knowledge and hands-on expertise I gained through CAWEB continue to shape my professional growth, allowing me to deliver stronger SEO strategies and drive better results in my current role.

Balancing work, family life, and pursuing a high-level degree seemed impossible to me at first. Thanks to CAWEB, I was able to achieve this while successfully managing my responsibilities as a mother and a professional.
Sabrine Lachheb, CAWEB Alumni, Web Designer

I was looking for a Master’s program in an area that interested me and primarily one that would allow me to stay mobile and flexible since I don’t like to feel fixed to one place. I also knew that I wanted to find one that I complete in one year. I found CAWEB and haven’t looked back! What I really appreciate about the program is how connected to reality it is. For example the professors are all industry experts currently working in the field of the subjects they teach and the projects we work on are mostly real projects like managing and redesigning the existing website for the CAWEB programs.
Shane Clare – student of Master in Web Communication, Accessibility & UX Design
I’m from Montreal, Canada, and discovered the CAWEB Master’s (Multilingual Web Communication) at the University of Strasbourg while vacationing in Portugal. Balancing my apprenticeship, master’s, and UX certificate was challenging but worthwhile. I gained valuable skills, met incredible people, and felt supported by fantastic teachers, coordinators, and a great student community.
Grace Pranica – student of Master in Web Communication, Accessibility & UX Design

Master Caweb is certainly a great option to explore.

I joined the CAWEB Master’s program to enhance my UX skills, practice English, and gain international experience. From the start, I was impressed by the curriculum’s quality and the in-depth focus on every aspect of UX. The program’s flexibility allowed me to study from anywhere, travel abroad, and kick-start my UX Design career with an internship at a specialized agency, all while learning from expert instructors in a supportive environment.

Hi, I’m Hiro from Japan. Since I live in Tokyo, I attend my classes remotely. One of the best things about this program is that I can stay in Japan, close to my family and friends, while pursuing my studies online. It’s such an international environment, with students from South America, Africa and many other places. I work full time as a Software Engineer and often collaborate with UI/UX designers at my work. The UX knowledge I gained in CAWEB is very helpful in those situations.
